Flag-tower, Hue Citadel

During the Tet Offensive, the North Vietnamese captured this flag-tower and raised their flag for several days. Today, a huge Vietnamese flag flies atop the tower. In the evening, the people of Hue gather in the large square beneath this flag and fly kites, play volleyball, and simply sit and watch the day meld into night.
