Pagoda Near Ninh Binh, Vietnam

This pagoda sits in what was once the capital of Vietnam. I was barely able to finish this shot before a little old lady latched herself on to me, insisting that I buy pineapple from her. Even after I bought some, she wanted me to buy more, and she was quite persistent. We encountered this quite often in Vietnam, but instead of getting upset with the touts (as many travelers do), we always joked with them. Eventually, I pulled some piece of garbage out of my pocked and started trying to sell it to her. Each time she refused, I used one of the lines she had just used on me to tell her why she should buy from me. Eventually she laughed at me, gave me a friendly poke on the arm, and disappeared into the background.

Top class composition and very nice grey tones.
